WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item upgrader mod is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The button will display the preview of an item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For instance, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers.
