Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements applied.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.

Requirements

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item upgrader kit, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
